Each of my color photographs is printed on a metal sheet of 100% recycled premium grade aluminum that is 1/16” (1.25mm) thick. Both lightweight and enormously durable, aluminum is tear-proof, waterproof, scratch and UV resistant, highly resistant to corrosion, non-rusting, and naturally flame retardant, insuring a photographic print that will last. Quality in photography!
The technique for producing my metal prints is called dye sublimation. My images are printed on a sublimation transfer paper, which is then adhered to a specially coated aluminum panel. The panel with the adhered transfer paper are then placed in a heat press where they are heated to 400 degrees under high pressure until the ink in the transfer paper is infused into the coating of the aluminum panel. The image lies underneath the glossy coating, not just on the surface.

The Premium Frame Mount is a ready-to-hang system incorporating an aluminum frame adhered to the back of the metal print with an extra-strength industrial adhesive tape. This frame offsets the photographs 3/4” (19mm) from the wall giving a floating appearance with clean edges. All mounts come with all mounting hardware, including a cleat and screws as well as a level for perfect hanging.
The Tuxedo Mount option adds a 1/4” (5mm) thick black polystyrene backing to the 1/16” (1.25mm) metal print. This backing gives greater stiffness, improved side appearance, better corner protection, and added weight to your metal print. A complimentary black 3/4” (19mm) frame mount and the mounting kit are included with this option.
